Every birth journey is unique, powerful, and deeply personal. I’m grateful for the trust these families placed in me and honored to have supported them during such meaningful moments in their lives.

Jennifer was an incredible resource from the very beginning. She stepped in right after our son was born and helped us with everything from getting a proper latch to teaching us safe breast milk storage and back to work logistics. As first-time parents, it all felt incredibly overwhelming, but she explained everything in a way that made us feel confident and supported, and was always just a text away.
A week later, when we couldn't get our son to sleep for more than two hours at a time, Jennifer helped us make a few adjustments to his feeding and sleep schedule. Within just a few days, he was giving us four-hour stretches at night, which made a huge difference for our whole family.
Jennifer is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping families succeed. The support and peace of mind she provided was invaluable, and the improvement in our son's sleep alone made working with her worth every penny. I can't recommend her enough!
-Jane R.

I cannot recommend Jen highly enough. Even though she will not be available to attend my birth and we haven’t had the chance to meet in person yet, she has already made such a meaningful impact on my pregnancy journey. Throughout my first trimester, Jen has been incredibly supportive, kind, and generous with her time. She has answered all of my questions with patience and care, always making me feel heard and reassured. Her willingness to show up for others like myself in this way truly speaks to the kind of person she is. Jen’s compassion, warmth, and genuine dedication to supporting mothers is something you don’t come across every day. If this is the level of care she provides before even meeting someone, I can only imagine how amazing she is to work with during birth and beyond. I’m so grateful for her guidance and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula or lactation specialist who truly cares.

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Jen. I’ve worked with her through all four of my babies over the past 10 years, and she has been an absolute constant in such an important time in my life. She is incredibly knowledgeable. Not just in lactation, but in all things postpartum and newborn care, which makes sense given her background as a labor and delivery doula and has 3 kids of her own! Beyond her expertise, she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. She is patient, kind, and always makes you feel supported and confident, even during the most overwhelming moments. There was always such a sense of relief when she would come over after I got home from the hospital it felt like everything was going to be okay. She has truly become like family to us. In fact, all of my sisters have used her as well, and we all feel the same way. If you are looking for someone who is not only exceptional at what she does but also deeply cares about her clients, she is simply the best.

Jennifer has amazing knowledge and skillset for new and experienced mamas. I was a second time mom and thought I had breastfeeding in the bag but I learned every baby is different. Jennifer made me feel at ease that I needed help even as a second time mama who had already learned to breastfeed. She is easy to talk to and makes you feel like family. She is confident in her ability to assist baby and I to get a deep latch. She did video chats very early on when baby was a few days old and then came out in person to see how things were going after a week or so. Jennifer provided different recommendations for positioning and props especially to encourage a deep latch. She also gave me amazon recommendation lists for breastfeeding friendly bottles, pacifiers etc. She was a constant presence when I had questions or needed support. Highly recommend her!

Jennifer helps you build your confidence and makes you feel seen and heard. Breast feeding is such a vulnerable time - she makes you feel so comfortable!
- Cynda M.
Jen is truly incredible, and I cannot recommend her enough. Her birthing classes were so insightful and valuable, they gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed going into delivery and those early newborn days. After my baby arrived, I struggled a lot with latching (my baby had a very shallow latch) and it quickly became overwhelming. On top of that, my baby was essentially using me as a pacifier around the clock, and I felt completely exhausted and unsure of what to do. Jen was an absolute lifesaver. She came to my home, assessed everything with such care and expertise, and gently taught both me and my baby how to establish a deeper, more effective latch and a healthier feeding dynamic. Her guidance made an immediate difference. What sets Jen apart is not just her knowledge (which is immense), but how deeply she cares. She continued to check in, offering support not just with feeding but also with baby sleep and practical solutions that actually worked for our family. She made me feel seen, supported, and never alone during a very vulnerable time. If you’re looking for someone who is compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly invested in your success as a parent, Jen is the best there is!
- Nikki & Josh F.
We had such a wonderful experience with Jen as our lactation consultant. She came to our home, which made everything feel so much more comfortable and manageable during those early, overwhelming days. We also spent time in the NICU, and she was incredibly helpful in preparing us for what feeding might look like in that environment. Jen explained things clearly, set realistic expectations, and helped us feel more confident navigating a situation that initially felt very intimidating. Jen was always responsive and available for questions whenever we needed her, which gave me so much peace of mind. When it became clear that my daughter needed additional support to gain weight through more monitoring of feeds, she guided me through the transition to pumping with so much care and without any pressure or judgment. I always felt supported in making the best decision for our baby. What really stood out was that Jen’s support went beyond just feeding, she was also a great resource for general newborn care questions, which was so helpful as a new parent. I’m so grateful for Jen’s expertise, kindness, and ongoing support, and would highly recommend her to anyone!

I cannot recommend Jen enough! Jen was present for the birth of both of my children and helped each of them latch immediately. Our early success with breastfeeding allowed me to nurse both of my children for their first year. Jen’s many years of experience are evident in the thoughtful, practical advice she provides. When my second child was nursing nonstop throughout the night, Jen helped me get her sleeping in 5+ hour stretches within just a couple of weeks using simple, easy-to-follow guidance. I am incredibly thankful for Jen and the support she provided to me and my little ones.
- Rachel P.
Jen is so much more than a lactation consultant. She is the entire package, a new mother’s dream!!! She has a wealth of knowledge, delivered with such gentleness and care. She helped me feel so confident in those first few days and weeks, which says everything when you’re doing something completely new (breastfeeding!). If you are looking for someone to truly support you through those early days and weeks of motherhood and even the final weeks of pregnancy, she handles that transition SEAMLESSLY. Jen is more than a lactation educator. She genuinely cares. She loves deeply. She will sit with you, pray with you, and give her all to make sure you and your little one are set up for success. She supported me far beyond what I ever expected from a lactation consultant. I know this wasn’t even technically part of her services, but Jen showed up for me emotionally during those first few weeks. When my daughter developed a simple cold at 10 days old she offered reassurance, helped me relearn simple things like swaddling, and guided me with the best newborn tips and even postpartum product recommendations. She truly is a gem. If you are lucky enough to have Jen as your lactation consultant, you are in the most incredible hands. We love Jen!
- Cassi A.
Jen was an absolute lifesaver throughout my entire breastfeeding journey. Thanks to her guidance and support, I was able to successfully nurse both of my babies for over a year each—something I truly don’t think I could have done without her. She was always incredibly responsive, whether I needed help in the moment over the phone or hands-on support in person. Jen patiently walked me through everything from clogged ducts and supply concerns to transitioning to a bottle and introducing pacifiers. Her in-person support with latching techniques and trying different holding positions made such a huge difference, especially during those early, overwhelming days. Beyond just lactation support, Jen offered invaluable parenting advice. She helped me navigate the transition of introducing a newborn to my toddler with so much care and insight, which made a potentially chaotic time feel much more manageable. Jen has a calming presence and a wealth of knowledge that instantly puts you at ease. She helped me through so many challenging moments and truly made my nursing experience not just successful, but genuinely enjoyable. I can’t recommend her highly enough to any parent looking for compassionate, expert support.

I cannot recommend Jen Lew Lactation highly enough. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but she also brings a level of compassion and genuine care that makes all the difference during such a vulnerable and important time. As a labor and delivery nurse, I’ve worked alongside many professionals in maternal and newborn care, and I can confidently say she stands out. Her approach is evidence-based, patient-centered, and always tailored to meet each family’s unique needs. She has an amazing ability to assess challenges quickly while still making you feel heard, supported, and never rushed. What truly sets her apart is the way she combines clinical expertise with a warm, reassuring presence. She empowers her clients with education and confidence, helping them feel capable and supported every step of the way. Whether it’s troubleshooting latch issues, offering encouragement, or simply being a calming presence, she consistently goes above and beyond.
On a personal level, I feel incredibly lucky to call her a friend. On a professional level, I would trust her with any of my patients or loved ones without hesitation. If you are looking for someone who is not only exceptionally qualified but also deeply compassionate, Jen is your girl!

I honestly don’t know how I would have gotten through those early weeks with my premature twins without Jennifer. It was such a difficult time—triple feeding, constantly trying to keep two tiny babies awake long enough to eat, and feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. But Jennifer had a way of teaching that just made sense. She broke everything down so simply and calmly that it took away so much of the stress and confusion. Within just two weeks, I went from struggling to feed them to not only breastfeeding successfully, but even feeding them both at the same time—something I never imagined would be possible. More than just her knowledge, Jennifer brought so much comfort. She was there for me like a friend—supportive, reassuring, and always present when I needed her. Looking back, I can’t help but wish I had her when I had my first daughter. It would have made such a difference. Because of her, my boys and I were able to breastfeed until they were two years old—and it truly was a beautiful experience. I still find myself sharing what she taught me with other moms. That’s how impactful her support was. I’m forever grateful for you, Jen.

I wholeheartedly recommend Jen as an exceptional lactation consultant. My journey with her began in 2021 after the birth of my first baby, who arrived prematurely and required care in the NICU. Jen provided invaluable support during this challenging time, offering expert guidance and heartfelt encouragement that helped me navigate the complexities of breastfeeding a premature infant.  I remember her telling me that his journey would have extra challenges but that I could do it, and her belief in me was a big part of our ultimate success. When my second, 2023 baby arrived only months after weaning, Jen was again by my side. Throughout both postpartum experiences, I struggled with oversupply, as well as infants with CMPA, and Jen’s expertise helped me manage both aspects effectively (and as comfortably as possible). Her practical advice was always grounded in deep technical knowledge, and she consistently tailored her recommendations to my unique situation.  She even helped me connect with Bronson’s Milk Bank; being able to donate >500 oz and >300 oz from my respective postpartum period really helped take the sting out of some of the challenges; I ultimately gained a lot of personal satisfaction in knowing that I helped provide sustenance to vulnerable infants throughout the state. Jenn’s understanding of mastitis and its management was another standout aspect of her care. She provided clear, actionable steps to address symptoms and attempt to prevent recurrence, all while showing genuine kindness and empathy. Her ability to combine clinical expertise with emotional support made a profound difference for me and my family. Despite other challenges, including bottle refusal, high lipase, etc., Jen and I were able to partner to develop management strategies, and in the end, I was able to EBF both children exclusively for 16-17 months, which far exceeded any personal “goals” that I had set for myself at the outset. Jen’s encouragement and compassion created a safe and reassuring environment, empowering me to overcome challenges and enjoy my breastfeeding journey. I am truly grateful for her unwavering support and highly recommend her lactation services to anyone seeking both skilled guidance and caring mentorship. Perhaps the most compelling endorsement is that I am currently expecting a 2026 baby and despite having extensive personal experience with nursing at this point, I have hired Jen again!

Jennifer was a huge support throughout my two pregnancies. She has vast experience, intuition and skill but, most of all, she put my husband and me at ease. She set me and my babies up for success with breastfeeding and really gave me confidence on my journey as a mom. I’ve referred many, many people to her over the years who all love her like we do.

I can’t recommend Jen enough. After struggling with the lactation consultants in the hospital, we started with Jen and she made all the difference. She helped me get my baby latched in our very first session, which felt like such a huge win. She’s extremely knowledgeable and explains things in a way that actually makes sense. On top of that, she shared so many helpful parenting tips and newborn care advice that truly supported us as new parents. As a first-time mom with lots of questions, I felt so cared for and confident after working with her. I’m so thankful for her support.

Jen supported me through my breastfeeding journey with my two daughters. In addition to helping me understand and prepare for the process of breastfeeding, Jen was always available to answer questions and provide support and encouragement. She is so responsive, kind, and understanding. When my daughter was 5 days old, she refused to nurse. Jen talked me through the situation, calmed my panic, helped me troubleshoot, and knew exactly when I should engage with the pediatrician. I had never used a breast pump before, and she talked me through getting a breast pump at a hospital and how to use it. Several months later, she talked me through the first time I was bit while nursing. At every stage, Jen was there to provide guidance and calm. Many people struggle to stick with nursing because it can be so difficult to work through challenges with all of the other emotional/physical needs of being a new parent! Jen is the reason I had the breastfeeding journey that I wanted.
- Samantha I.
I met with Jen five days postpartum with my second baby. I was so unbelievably engorged with bruised and bleeding nipples and wanted to sob almost every-time he latched. I was at my wits end and questioning if I was even going to keep trying. With my first baby, I was never able to successfully breastfeed despite meeting with various lactation consultants and treating a lip tie. I ended up exclusively pumping for ten months and it was one of the most draining experiences of my life and I really wanted to avoid going that route again if at all possible. Jen evaluated my current state when she arrived and immediately said there was a major issue with the latch, clearly, and gave me tangible strategies to implement every time I brought him to breast. Before she left an hour later, I was already nursing with substantially less discomfort. She has been an incredible resource and I feel much more empowered to have a positive nursing experience this time. Thankful to have found Jen this postpartum experience!

Jennifer is the best. She was incredibly helpful, supportive, and understanding! She had great advice that helped me tremendously with my twins. I am currently five and half and pumping still. She was very helpful, she answered all my questions, she was always available via phone or text. She also came to my house which made it very easy for me instead of leaving the house with twins in the winter. I would definitely recommend her.
- Ayleen M.

Jen was my doula who stood beside me through labor and transformed my birth experience. She has a calm and confident presence, which allowed me to relax and trust her right away. She coached me (and my husband) through contractions, helping me experience my goals of working with my body through labor. Jen is knowledgeable, responsive, and a great communicator. She was a great addition to my care team.
- Maggie C.

We had Jen help us with two of our children. Our first child had jaundice and she helped us navigate extra feedings and helping him gain weight. Our next child struggled to gain weight and she was so helpful in ensuring that we had a good latch in plan to help him gain weight. I have worked with other lactation consultants and they do not measure up compared to Jen. She is able to explain a good latch in a way that makes sense and also ensure that your baby is latched well before she ends a session. She is kind and encouraging and full of helpful information. I cannot recommend her enough. We are so grateful for her help in getting our breast-feeding journey started with two of our kids.

I cannot recommend Jen enough! As a first-time mom, I was incredibly overwhelmed, dealing with [the unknown of nursing], and honestly on the verge of giving up. I wasn’t aware about the harsh truths about nursing and never would have survived and given up if it wasn’t for Jen. She was there pre-natal to prepare me for what to expect and was there for me once our daughter arrived. Jen was a beacon of light during a very stressful time. Having a c-section created many problems for me nursing but Jen gave me useful tools that eased my journey. She also was a wealth of knowledge with my pumping journey also. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate. She took the time to observe a full feeding, in the hospital and at our home, corrected my technique without making me feel judged, and provided a tailored plan that actually worked (for pumping too). She didn't just help with breastfeeding; she helped build my confidence as a new mother. Thanks to her, she made the newborn trenches and sundown scaries a little more manageable —10/10 recommend Jen for all your lactation questions and concerns!
- Madeline C.
Jen was absolutely amazing! This is our second baby, but the first time I truly feel confident that I’ll successfully breastfeed. With our first, I exclusively pumped, so I’m incredibly grateful to now have the tools and support I need to make this journey successful. Jen came to our home, took her time, and guided me through every step of the process. In less than 24 hours, I already feel so much more comfortable. I’m no longer in pain, and I feel so much more confident. I’m beyond thankful for Jen and her wealth of knowledge. On top of that, she is so kind, encouraging, and positive. I would recommend her 100x over — worth every penny!
